America was saddened by the unexpected departure of the Battledongs (consensus #1 pick to win Funk Bowl I) at the hands of Thimbles' Bobbum Men. Shaylar's Holy Cats were also eliminated by Besota's Bessies.

Funk Bowl I: Bessie (1) vs Bobbum Man (3)

Winner takes home 5000g. 2000g for the runner up.
