If someone had told me, upon my caving to the demands of a few hometown friends, that WoW would wholly consume me for over a year - leave me skipping meals, playing on my rooftop until dawn, cursing and raving and crying from laughter - I wouldn't have believed them. And when I tell people that this experience - leading a swarm of zealous misfits through the not-real but astounding continents of Azeroth - was the absolute highlight of my post-college chapter, they don't believe me.
I don't regret a pixel of it. Believe what you love.
